Camper site

At the camper site in the Thayatal National Park, you can still enjoy the peace and quiet of nature in the evening.

The small but excellent campsite with 8 pitches on the meadow next to the National Park House makes possible hikes in the cross-border National Park, excursions to Hardegg, the smallest town in Austria (2 km), to the historic wine town of Retz (15 km) or to other excursion destinations in the Waldviertel, Weinviertel and Czech Republic.

Right next to the campsite is the National Park House with its numerous service facilities, such as catering, bike rental, European wildcat enclosure and adventure playground.

The pitches, which are laid on gravel turf, are also usable in winter. Electricity, fresh water and waste disposal points are in operation all year round. The sanitary facilities can be used during the opening hours of the National Park House. There are no showers.

Attention! Campfires are prohibited on the entire site.
