Nature Adventure World

Here the little ones can really let off steam: spider's web, foxhole, climbing walls and a "floating tree house” with a 15-metre-long rope tunnel require skill and are a lot of fun. In warm weather, two sand troughs that can be flooded with a water see-saw invite you to splash around. The visit to the Nature Adventure World is free of charge.

European Wildcat hiking trail

From the National Park House, the nature adventure trail leads down to the Thaya. Along the path, 11 wildcats (silhouettes) hide in dense bushes or on trees.
This calls for detective intuition! Small information boards make the search easier and offer interesting information on the way of life of these shy animals.
A tip for the whole family!

Eye to eye with the wildcat

A crawl tunnel leads directly to Frieda & Carlo in Austria's largest European wildcat enclosure! You can experience these two ambassadors from the wild up close. Their shy relatives are thought to be extinct in Austria, but they have found a retreat in the Thayatal National Park.
