Organization

The National Park Thayatal GmbH considers itself as a service provider in the field of nature and environment protection. The shareholders of the company GmbH are the Republic of Austria represented by the Minister of Environment, and the Province of Lower Austria represented by its Governor.

The company is bound by a series of laws, the main one being the national park law, which also defines the participation of the local population and their involvement in the implementation.
