Exhibition "NaturGeschichten-ThayaTales"

The 200 m2 multimedia exhibition "NaturGeschichten-ThayaTales" offers a comprehensive introduction to the unspoiled nature of the Thayatal with its million-year old history and its incredible diversity.

On an indoor "hike" through the Thayatal, the "Thaya wave" follows visitors on their journey before finally disappearing into the landscape. While "meandering" along the wave, following the imaginary course of the river, visitors experience changing perspectives. The formation of mountains, the cutting in of the river, the perpetual transformation, death and birth as principles of life, flora and fauna in relation to their environment - and human beings as guests in a world millions of years old.
