The Heiliger Stein with its rubbed in circular bowls is one of the most beautiful bowl-stones in Austria.
The area around the Heiliger Stein is an ancient place of worship. Walking around the ritual areal on an ellipse-shaped slanted bridge, one enjoys a wonderful view over Retz and its surroundings, the Pulkau valley and the south Moravian region up to Znojmo.
